Sodium bicarbonate or baking soda is an important product for the whole body, most important for the stomach, kidneys, and pancreas which are trying to produce it in sufficient amounts.

According to Dr. Simoncini cancer cells act as yeast or fungal cells because they get their energy through fermentation. Therefore, he recommends the use of sodium bicarbonate in the treatment of cancer.
However, many doctors tried the treatments of this Italian doctor, and they have reported low percentage of positive effects. The reason for this is that the blood pH is closely controlled, which limits the direct alkalization of the blood.
But, this should not be an obstacle for the treatment with sodium bicarbonate as it can get bypassed with oral and transdermal use. In this way the body fluids will for sure get alkalized. The other reason for showing such low rate in this treatment is the fact that the patients and doctors relied only on the use of sodium bicarbonate.
